Individually sealed insulation pads to fit on the back of ceiling tiles, to help provide thermal insulation. The sealed insulation bags ensure the insulation fibres are kept within the bag itself. Perfect for areas of hygiene or any other ‘fibre free’ environments. The pads are very easy to install, simply positioned on the back of the ceiling tile. The pads are made using Knauf loft roll 40 (or equivalent) cut to size and sealed within 250 swg polythene bags. Easy to relocate to other areas.
PLS Thermal Poly Pads/Roll
PLS polythene encapsulated rolls and pads are manufactured using Knauf glass mineral fibre at 10kgm3. Made from up to 86% recycled glass.
Manufactured to strict ISO 9001 standards. The insulation is then totally encapsulated in 200g self extinguishing polythene and heat sealed.
This method of encapsulation provides a completely safe and environmentally friendly product, and does not detract from any of the raw materials properties, thermal or acoustic.
Thermal
Isover Spacesaver has a declared thermal conductivity of 0.044 W/mK under BS EN 13162 for factory made mineral wool.
Fire
Euroclass A1 fire rating when classified to BS EN 13501-1. Class ‘O’ compliance encapsulated in self extinguishing black polythene. Orange flame retardant poly is also available on request.
Size
Normal pad sizes are 600mm x 600mm OR 600 x 1200mm variations are available on request.
Normal roll sizes are 600mm or 1200mm wide up to a maximum length dictated by the glass or fibre manufacturers roll length, information on request.

Fitting Instructions
Made to order to ensure the quality of material, these pads are compressed for delivery immediately prior to dispatch, and must be installed as soon as they are received, as excess time in a compressed state may compromise the fibres ability to recover.
Once unpacked, given some recovery assistance, and placed in the ceiling, they should recover to full thickness within 48–72hrs. Failure to fit properly may result in the product not recovering sufficiently. However this will not affect the thermal performance of the product.

Kerbside Delivery: Deliveries are made to the kerbside or nearest accessible location.
Delivery Vehicles: We use a range of vehicles, from small vans to large HGVs, depending on the order size.
Unloading: Customers must ensure they have adequate manpower or equipment to unload large or heavy materials.
An adult must be available to accept delivery; otherwise, a redelivery charge may apply.
Inaccessible Delivery Locations: If our driver cannot access the site due to restrictions, the order may be rescheduled, and a failed delivery fee may be charged.
Changes to Delivery: If you need to change the delivery date or location after dispatch, additional charges may apply.
Provide Accurate Information: Ensure your address, access details, and contact information are correct.
Inspect Goods Upon Delivery: Any issues must be reported immediately. If damage is visible, refuse the affected items and contact us.
After Delivery: Once delivered, responsibility for the goods transfers to you. We are not liable for theft, loss, or damage after the delivery has been signed for.
